Paul McDowell, FRICS, FSCSI, SIOR, Dip IoD
Owner and Managing Director

Paul McDowell has over 40 years’ experience in the property industry. Paul began his career in 1975, then joined Ganly Craigie in 1979, out of which Ganly Walters was formed in 1985, where he was a founding owner director. He became MD of Ganly Walters in 1988, which then became part of the Knight Frank Group in 2007, where Paul remained managing director of Knight Frank Ireland until 2013.

Paul acted as Head of Investment for Knight Frank Ireland, where he focussed on Ireland, UK and European transactions. He has undertaken the disposal and acquisition of primarily Retail and Office deals, combined with strategic development advice and a knowledge of structures/funding issues.

Paul left Knight Frank in 2013 to form his own consultancy business.

Paul’s previous experience includes the acquisition and building of a property portfolio of over €1bn across France, Germany and Switzerland retaining an ongoing asset management role. He founded the Le Premier Funds of some 20 buildings across France and asset managed this portfolio.

Recently, he has advised on acquisitions in Ireland for French based funds, a German private fund and private individuals. He has also advised on the exit strategy and disposal of a major office asset in Berlin for a syndicated fund and for a group of Irish syndicates with a German office, retail and residential portfolio.

Suzanne Hall, BSc (Surv) SCSI RICS

Suzanne has over 17 years’ experience in the property industry, graduating with an Honours Degree from Trinity College. She began her career with Regus Plc in 2001 and went on to become Head of Sales for Ireland. She joined Ganly Walters Investment team in 2006 and was appointed Divisional Director in 2007 when Ganly Walters became part of the Knight Frank Group.

In Knight Frank Ireland Suzanne was responsible for the acquisition and disposal of European and Irish assets on behalf of Wealth Management, Institutional and Private Clients. For one client, Suzanne’s role involved the asset management of a French property portfolio of 19 buildings and 77 tenants across France.

More recently Suzanne has advised on investment acquisitions in Ireland for overseas funds and private individuals. She has a wealth of experience in asset managing property portfolios in both Ireland and abroad.
